Dave Englert, 57, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, after a valiant battle with heart disease. He was born on August 2, 1955 in Puyallup, WA to his parents, George Englert and Rose Matier. He attended school in Darrington, WA, joined the U.S. Army in 1973, and attended Everett Community College.
Dave was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #76. He loved the outdoors his whole life. In his youth, he spent most of his days fishing, hiking, hunting, and trapping. He became a very proficient and successful fisherman. He loved to help people whenever he could.
Dave married his loving wife, Tereasa Sandbank 25 years ago this month. Dave and Teri were blessed the day the adopted their children Taylor Mulford (Jacob) and son, Kennedy Englert.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, George and brother, Big Bob.
A celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at the Sevent-Day Adventist Church, 713 N. Talcott St., Arlington, WA 98223.
