Neil always, always had a story… Funny, informative and on point for whatever the situation or person he found to tell his stories to.
Albert Neil Murphy, February 5, 1933 to January 18, 2013
Born to Clarence and Millie Murphy, in Spokane, WA. As a youngster he moved to Missoula, MT, then to Portland, OR, and finally to Billings, MT where he went to school at Billing Sr., High where he met his wife, Ann Lauch Murphy, and they were married for 55 years.
Neil and Ann had three sons, and six grandchildren. KEITH, married to Julie, grandson Michael, MIKE, married to Tawnee, grandkids, Sammi & Tommy and KEN and grandkids Kristine and Ben. And Sudo Grandson Seth.
Neil served in the Army where he learned helicopter mechanics, then moved onto private Airline work in California and Seattle, WA. In 1963 the family moved back to Billings, MT where he worked as a truck mechanic, which was his career for the majority of his life. He worked for Peterbuilt in Seattle, WA, DiPietro in Seattle, WA and then retired, and returned back to work part time later with Penske, in Tukwila and Everett, WA. After retiring again… he went to work delivering parts for NAPA, in Everett, WA
Neil is also survived by his Brother Dale Murphy, Spokane, WA and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be Friday January 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm, at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. MacLeod Ave, Arlington, WA 98223. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity, in his name. Thank you for you love and support, The Murphy Family.
