Roy Nathaniel Jones

Roy Jones passed peacefully on January 8, 2018 at Capital Caring Hospice in Arlington, VA. Roy leaves to cherish his memory and continue his legacy of fun: wife, Peggy; five children, Katrina Jones-Bonner (husband John) of Arlington, VA, Gary Kirkland (wife Tanya) of Woodbridge, VA, Guy Kirkland of Hagerstown, MD, Shawn Jones (wife Michelle) of Seattle, WA, and Michael Jones (wife Keisha) of Brunswick, MD; thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren (otherwise critters), two brothers, Amos Edward and Ronald Jones; three sisters, Ruby Sanford, Geraldine Giles, and Darlene Jones; a host of sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends at Hope Aglow Empowerment Church, 13550 Jefferson Davis Highway, Woodbridge, VA 22191, on Monday, January 15, 2018, at 11am. Services to immediately following at 12pm . Interment will be at Quantico National Cemetery, 1824 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA 22172. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made on behalf of Roy Jones Sr. to: The America Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, Capital Caring Hospice, or INOVA Fairfax Cardiovascular Institute.
