Norma Cheri Herrlein

Norma Joan (Joanne) Herrlein passed away peacefully on May 18, 2021. Norma was born on May 6, 1933 in Washington, D.C. She is preceded in death by her loving Husband, John Francis Herrlein. She is survived by her sister Jean Diamondson, and her loving children John Herrlein, Stephen Herrlein (Eileen), and Cheri Herrlein Federici (Mark). Proud grandmother of Julia and Jack Federici, as well as Kathleen, Brian, and Matthew Herrlein. She will be missed by her extended family and many friends within D.C. metro area and across the country. We will miss her kind heart, her infectious laughter, and her beautiful smile. She will always be in our hearts and we will meet again one day. In the meantime, enjoy that beautiful beach in heaven and tailgating in lot 8. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, May 23 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home of Arlington, 4510 Wilson Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, May 24 at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1910 N. Randolph St., Arlington, VA. Interment with follow at Columbia Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
