On November 28th, 2016 passed away at his home in Arlington VA. Son of Ann Pakenham and the late Jerome Pakenham. Survived by his wife, Eleanor, daughter, Claire, his mother, brother Tim, sister Mary and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Bill. A life-long teacher, Mike spent most of his career working at Gonzaga College High School. He will be missed by all who knew him and remembered as a loving husband, father, teacher, and friend.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Saint Aloysius Church Monday, December 5th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11am in Saint Aloysius Church in Washington, D.C. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gonzaga College High School scholarship fund.
