Marya Sophia Haluska

Born in Newburyport, MA March 28, 1965 she was the beloved bright light of parents Lt. Commander George J and Mary Ann Haluska. She graduated from John Carroll Catholic High School, Ft. Pierce, FL, earned her BFA in Fashion Design at The Art Institute of Chicago and studied digital media at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, CA

Marya worked for CBRE as a Commercial Real Estate Transaction Manager supporting the GWS JCI Account for over 8 years. She loved her team and the work she did, all the way until the time of her passing

Marya lit up any room she walked into. She was a loving and loyal daughter and friend who swam life’s water in her own direction. Her wit, humor, intelligence, beauty, bright smile, creativity and glam have blessed this world. Even in her final moments, she donned her blue boa, had her nails painted sparkly gold, and drank champagne. In the end, her mother and those loved her were by her side when she put her hand out and touched the face of God.

She is predeceased by her father George and brother Michael and is survived by her mother Mary Ann , brothers Christopher and Greg and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and her sweet dog and companion Maximillian Moonshine. She will be missed by all her friends.
