Mary Josephine Reuwer

Mary was born in Washington DC to Mary Catherine Allen and Clinton Andrew Allen on April 13, 1935. She went to school at Holy Cross Academy. She married Henry Duke Reuwer on June 13, 1953 in Washington DC 20016 at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church.

She graduated from Holy Cross Academy in May of 1953, Mickey worked as a Clerical for Georgetown Electric for her Husband and also for Taylors Catering in NW Washington DC. Later she worked for the Great Falls Library. She was involved in Lions Club of Georgetown and the Legion of Mary Association for Catholic Church at Saint Catherine of Siena in Great Falls Virginia.

Mary is survived by Mary Kathleen Walker Daughter. Jonathan Walker Son in Law, William C Walker Brother to Jonathan and Elaine Virginia Walker Sister to Jonathan Walker.

Visitation Viewing will be at Murphy Funeral Home on 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington VA on Tuesday April 25, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 10 am on Wednesday April 26, 2023

At Saint Ann’s Roman Catholic Church on with the Monsignor James Watkins of Saint Ann’s Roman Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington VA at 12:00 noon.
