MARY ELIZABETH BERGAN On August 30, 2018, Mary Elizabeth Bergan passed away in her home in McLean, VA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 52 years, Raymond Ward Bergan. She is survived by her four children, Patricia Cary (Todd Stansbury), Ann Behan (Tom), Elizabeth Bergan, and James Bergan; her brother, Joseph Corcoran; and her six loving grandchildren, Michael Cary, Lauren Lynch, Rachel Ruppert, Kathleen Ruppert, Shannon Behan and Colleen Behan. Mary Elizabeth was a remarkable woman who was loved by all those who were lucky enough to spend time with her over almost 84 years of life. Mary Elizabeth will be missed by her family and friends and will always be remembered as a woman who enjoyed life to its fullest and spending time with her family. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 8 at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 6420 Linway Terrace, McLean, VA at 11 a.m. A visitation will be held at St John the Beloved at 10 a.m. prior to the Funeral Mass. A private family burial service will be held following the Mass.
