Louise was one of a kind. Her dedication to the children of Arlington Country was unmatched, along with her commitment to the Cathedral of St Thomas Moore. She was always a gracious host who loved having people over for dinner or drinks. Louise was my first grade teacher and from day one there was a bond that would span over 50 years, she was like a second Mom and very close to my family.

Louise and I were good friends since she joined the choir at St. Thomas More Cathedral.  We always took time to chat with each other before the 11:00am Mass on Sunday mornings.  She always supported the choir and the concert series ever since she retired from the choir.  I will miss her dearly!  She was an elegant lady and the sweetest person always. May her soul rest in the peace and love of our Lord forever!

I had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Rusk every 6 months at her dental cleanings and also on the occasion of having something done at Virginia Hospital Center.  She was the most loving and kind woman I have had the honor of meeting.  Her sweet spirit will forever be apart of me and those who were blessed to be touched by such a gentle soul.  Into the arms of angels I pray.

We will miss Louise and know  she is in a better place. She was a long-time wonderful, kind and loving friend and neighbor. Rest In Peace.  You will remain in our hearts.
