We have all lost a wonderful person, exceptional professional, talented attorney, and amazing mother and wife.   I had the privilege of having Lisa as a colleague at the Department of Justice and selected her to be the Deputy Assistant Attorney General of the Environment and Natural Resources Division.  She was exceptional in all that she did, a mentor to many, and an inspiration to all of us in the way she handled her debilitating illness.  I will miss her friendship, her lovely smile, and her unerring common sense in all important matters.

How did I ever get so lucky to know Lisa!?!?She lived one floor above me when we were Freshman and I still remember meeting her - she was bouncing , full of energy and she wore hot pink Daisy’s all over white jeans. I would come to realize this super trendy fare, embodied her spirit: absolute sweetness, contagious spunk, fearless opinions,  high energy, and the most zesty full of life, passionate heart !! As the years passed, Lisa became a sister- and a dear friend and always a trusted soul!! . Her next move to UVA and then DC and then the altar and then Motherhood were all accomplished the same- with unfaltering  success. So much so, everyone looked up to Lisa. We still do and always will. She leaves such a great legacy, with no doubt a capstone of “well done my good and faithful servant” I send you all my love LISA, thank you for being my sister and my friend- I will continue to miss you all of my days and look forward to being with you again!!  ❤️❤️❤️Ring Ching angel girl - love you SOOOOO
