Even today we still miss Zach.  We think of him often. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend.  

We have been a neighbor to Zack since 2014.  Our utmost sympathy goes out to Celina and the rest of the family.  We are so sorry for your loss.

Zack was always so friendly and teasing us for one reason or another.  He was a wonderful neighbor.  We will truly miss seeing him every day.  May he rest in peace.  

I met Zac a few years ago. He always made me smile and laugh. He felt more like an uncle to me. I am going to miss having conversations with him. It is still hard for me to believe he is gone. I will forever remember the last time I saw him back in October. That hug will forever be in my memories of You. You will be greatly missed my friend. 

Coach Zac, my Army brother...Day 1 when we met on the football field who would have known the bond and brotherhood would come of this. Then finding out you served in the Army was the stamp of approval.  We shared the same passion for coaching the GPYFA Broncos.  The kids.... The love you have for my family and the love I have for yours, seeing IV grow up and seeing Cassie grow up and the smile you had talking about the grandkids. Bro saying I'm going to miss seeing you blowing your horn or flashing our lights at each other passing each other.  My heart is going to be a little less empty coaching again, but I will continue to coach these kids in the direction that we only know how. RIP Peace my brother and until we meet at the 50 yard line again.  I love you and miss you. 
Selena and Cassie... you will forever have me at your disposal, cassie call me no matter what time if you need that tire changed the Foster Family will have your back.


Junior, You were always the life of our get togethers. We will miss your laugh, your jokes, your jabs and most of all your smile.  You were always there for us if we needed anything.  You lived life to the fullest and we will miss your many stories!  Celina, May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you and the family.  We are, and will always, be here  for you.  We will never forget “the magic of Junior”.

Oh, Tio Zac.  I don't know where to start... ty for all the times you kept me company,  hugged me with your heart,  gave me basic sound advice, laughed with and sometimes at me and in general thank you for being my friend.  Make sure you wash your hands up there cuz u know I'll be checking when i join you one day.  My prayers go out to his family and his little "families" all around.  May we find comfort in the memories we all have and share amongst each other.  Life goes on it's true but it will not be quite the same. 

I met Julio in Ft. Stewart, Ga 36 years ago, while serving in the U. S Army. Julio, myself and Buck have been friends ever since. Bucky gave Julio the nickname, perhaps after the singer Julio Iglesias. Julio had a great smile. I will miss him dearly. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathy to Julio's family. It was by chance that I met Zac years ago and after seeing him consistently, we became friends. Zac was hilarious and I will always remember his smile. He had the best personality and that's what made him so special. I will miss his laugh, our bar conversations and his jokes. Rest in peace Zac!

It's been a few years since I saw Zach, but for several years we saw each other every day when we worked at the VA clinic. Good memories of a good man. My heart goes out to his family.


I remember telling Zac how hungry I was , I didn’t get a chance to eat . Being a bartender you kind of just get to nibble on food here and there . It was now closing time and I was starving . We were laughing and joking about how good whataburger is at 2 am .I give Zac a hug as he leaves .About 10-15 minutes passed by and I hear a knock at the front door or the restaurant . It was Zac bringing me a burger from whataburger ❤️

Dear Dad,
I will never forget how much you helped me and my boys with science projects math homework and even trying to teach me to change a tire I was good for awhile but then I just started to call you to help me we had so much fun bowling and swimming and just hanging out watching friends or the big bang theory which you got my into and king of queens and blue bloods and etc I hope I can make you proud of me dad I love you so much and this hurts so bad can you come and visit me every once in awhile and tell me you love us and that I'm doing good watch over us dad you were the best dad a girl could ask for

Zack AKA 'Julio' We never thought in a million years when Bucky and I saw you at the hospital that would be the last time we would get to talk to you. It's just so unreal that when you was about to go to surgery amd you looked at us and said I will be right back in one minute that will be last time we get to talk. We will truly miss you you were loving kind but most of all a very best friend to Bucky. Our thoughts and prayers with the family.

First... I'm shocked and sadened to hear the news of Zac's passing.   2 minutes ago I just learned of this sad news and thought I should share our story.   Brief encounter but we always stayed in touch afterwards.  Zac and I met in a hotel bar in Oahu Hawaii back..  Jeez about 5 years ago or so. My son and I traveled there to get away on a little vacation.  Feeling restless.  I wandered down the beach and found a fairly active bar with music playing.  I settled in at the bar and ordered a drink.  The man next to me was Zac, after a few drinks we got to chatting.. he was from Texas and I was from Vancouver Canada.  We chatted and at the end of the evening when the bar was at its end, we exchanged facebook information.  But every year on my birthday or his, we would reach out to each other and say "hey".    I'm extremely saddened to hear this news, my heart goes out to his son, family and his loved ones.
