William Reed Smith

October 22, 1953, in Sacramento California, A precious baby boy was born to Odis & Frances Smith, and they named him WILLIAM REED SIMTH.

William Smith went to be with the Lord June 25th 2019. Bill moved to Arlington, Texas in 1998. He began working for Custom Building Products in 1999. He worked there faithfully for 20 years. He was just a month away from retirement.

Bills Hobbies included BBQing, fishing and watching his beloved San Francisco 49ers. He was a faithful member of North Dallas Church of Nazarene under the direction of Pastor Henvy.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Zipporah Smith – Bill & Zippy married April 16, 2016. Bill never had children of his own but was a loving father to his 4 wonderful stepchildren. Gabrelle Ayala (Brian Goldsmith) of Arlington, Tx., Claudine Ayala of Sacramento, Ca. Rene Ayala of Moreno Valley, Ca. and Gladys (Moses) Kamau of Dallas, Tx.

He was a devoted grandfather to Derrell Blackburn, LeNia Blackburn, Daryus Blackburn, Amaya Lacy, Brycen Goldsmith, Veronica Sumi, Alex Sumi, Marissa Ayala, Vincente Ayala, Valerie Ayala, Priscilla Ayala, Amadeus Ayala and Tiffany Kamau.

He was also blessed with 4 great grandchildren Xiphel Sumi, Myles Mason, Mila Mason and Liam Goodier.
