Wayne William Nelson

Wayne was raised in Arlington, Texas where he attended and graduated from James Bowie High School in 1981. He had three wonderful children. Wayne was Master Plumber since 1995 most recently working at Polk Mechanical.

In his free time, he enjoyed; going dancing, listening to music, was a black belt in karate; and watching all his favorite Texas sport teams. Wayne’s family will always remember him as a fun loving, boisterous personality. Always the life of the party...ALL of the parties. Along with being a co-writer for a country song “una mas cerveza”.

Wayne is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Joseph and Pearl Nelson; Maternal Grandparents, Jesse and Lola Whitehead; mother, Mygra Monette Brewington.

Left to cherish his memory; children, Tosha Ballard, Aubrie Nelson, Clayton Nelson and wife Zoey; grandson Nova Wayne Nelson; brother, Wade Nelson and wife Holly; Sister, Wendy Gist and husband Keith; Step-sister Becky Phillips and husband Mark; nieces, Tori Gambrel, River Nelson, Sarah Sealy, and Lauren Arias, Care Cherry; nephew, Derek Grippin; parents, Jerry and Shirley Nelson.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday June 22,2024 at 2pm. At Moore Funeral home; 1219 N Davis Dr. Arlington, TX 76012.
