He was born in Dallas, Texas on November 3, 1934 to Hugh and Lois Watters Rowe.
Walter attended and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1953, then took to higher education at Texas A&M, where he received a Bachelor of Science, in Chemical Engineering.
He married the love of his life, Janie Gann on November 13, 1953 and they had 70 wonderful years together, raising their two children. Walter was a Project Engineer for Centex Construction for many years until his retirement.
He was a member of the International Cement Microscopy Association, where he was general chairman and founder. His true passion was time with his family, career and traveling.
Left to cherish Walter’s memory; his beloved wife, Janie Rowe; children, Michael Rowe, Julie Ann Rowe; grandchildren, A.J. Prindle, Chris Hanlon, Amanda Hamilton, Amber Rowe, Sean Flanagan, Kelsey Flanagan, Bethanee Flanagan, and Ashleigh Flanagan.
