Arlington, Texas -- Virjean Bloom Wallace, 94, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, July 14, 2011.
Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with rosary at 4 p.m.
Mrs. Wallace was born Sept. 24, 1916, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Norton and Edith Bloom. She married George Wallace in 1943 and had a son, James. Virjean lived in Arlington with her husband and son since 1952 and worked for LTV for 25 years in correspondence control.
Virjean was an avid baseball fan and loved the Texas Rangers.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George.
Survivors: Son, James and wife, Becky; and granddaughters, Vanessa and Melanie.
