Virginia Elaine Green

Born June 28th 1941 to Theodore and Adela Garcia in Dallas Texas.

The family moved to Arlington Texas where Virginia attended Arlington High school and studied at UT Arlington. Class of 1959 Arlington High School

Married to Robbie Green October 14th 1961

Became parents to Tim Green 1964 & Dan Green 1968

Remained a devoted housewife until Tim and Dan started School.

Various clerical jobs included: Dallas PD, Faulk Corporation & the Grand Prairie Visitors center

Awards: Manpower Secretary of the year for fast typing and accuracy.

Loved to shop and travel.

Loved Elvis & Tanya Tucker and various others artists.

Loved to sing and play the piano mainly chopsticks, over and over.

Various travel cruises and Loved to see brother Jesse and beloved family in Florida

Virginia loved her family, dear friends and long conversations.

She moved her aging parents to be close to her then home in the Grand Prairie area to take care of them and health issues when they were in in their latter years. Truly a sweet, warmhearted and gentle person. Virginia could always lend an ear to someone in distress or share a caring conversation.

In the past year Virginia was able to over come her fear of technology and became an Uber Grandma to be with Robbie every day. In her final days post stroke; Virginia was able to get into a wheelchair to see Robbie one last time. Truly an endearing moment, Robbie does not talk clearly anymore however he did tell the caregivers “I told her Dad I would take care of her”. As they held hands, there was not a dry eye at the local Nursing care facility.

With a strong faith as a devout Catholic, Virginia is survived by:

Husband Robbie Green /Sons Tim & (Paisley), Dan & (Sandra)

Grand Children: Presley, Paris & Matthew (Jadyn) Green

Great Grandchildren: Weston & Emmy Green

Other family members to include: Kathy & Bart Green, Donna Garcia and their families and various cousins on the Orozco, Garcia, Crump and Green family tree.

Went to be with our Lord and Savior on the morning of March 24th 2025

A visitation for Virginia will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral: 10:00 AM Friday, March 28, 2025 at Moore Funeral Home, North Chapel. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens.
