Victoria "Mamacita" Angela Mendez Sanchez

Victoria "Mamacita" Angela Mendez Sanchez, age 86, of Mansfield, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters on Sunday August 11, 2019. "Mamacita" was born March 1, 1933 in Dangriga, Belize Central America. She will be remembered as an amazing mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rumaldo and Feliciana Mendez, brothers, Ernesto, Joseph and Roomy Mendez, sisters, Patricia and Adela Mendez.

In her professional career, she worked as a clerk at the Citrus Company of Belize and Belize Electricity Board. Upon retirement, she moved to the states to be closer to her daughters.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Anita Petillo, Joyce Stokes, Rita Sanchez and Noel (Chris) Witherspoon. Brother, James Mendez, Sr., nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
