Vernon G. Warren

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home South Chapel, 1219 N. Davis Drive, in Arlington. Visitation for family and friends: from noon until service time on Monday at Moore Funeral Home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in memory of Vernon to a charity of choice or to the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation at www.texas.rangers.mlb.com.

Vernon had an extensive career in the insurance business. His passions were for the Texas Rangers, golf, and playing cards.

After his battle with cancer, he leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife, Linda Bourgeois Warren; children, Tracy Warren, Stacey Townsend (Jerry), Wendy Gibson (Gary) and Brian Bourgeois; grandchildren, Nicole Cieminski (Danny), Kyle Warren, Brooke and Victoria Townsend, and Emily, Elizabeth, Erin and Evan Pennington; great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Leighton, Zackarey and Aiden Cieminski; nephew, Darren Cross; niece, Karen Crounse; his adored cat, Cheetah; as well as a host of other family and friends.
