Tom Hicks was a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather. Next to Jesus Christ his Lord, Tom loved his family the most. Tom was born March 21, 1934 and passed away on October 18, 2022.
He was married to Karen for 55 years this past June. He had two children Michelle and Pat, two grandchildren Tommy and Erin, and 6 great grandchildren. He loved each one in their own special way.
He came from a great family in West Texas. His mom and dad, Biddy and Martha, his brother Jerry who was career Air Force, and his sisters Rosemary and Coralynn who always used him to play beauty parlor.
Tom spent two years in the Army and then attended the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated in 1963
How blessed were all of us to have known and loved Tom. We thank the Lord for giving us such a great man, and he’s now with Him and no longer suffering.
Memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project in remembrance of Thomas P. Hicks, Sr.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Dr, Arlington, Texas 76012. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Moore Funeral Home.
