Funeral: 8:30 a.m. Friday at Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church. Burial: D/FW National Cemetery. Visitation: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington.
Her final days were spent surrounded by her family and friends who loved and adored her.
Lea was born Dec. 11, 1942, in Saigon, Vietnam, and moved to the United States in 1968. Lea was a free-spirited woman and a devout Catholic. She was a part of the Legion of Mary and was a active member of the Vietnamese Catholic Martyr Church in Arlington. She loved spending time with her family and friends, going to church, and helping and caring for others, even when she was unable to care for herself. Lea enjoyed cooking, knitting and taking care of her plants. She was happy and always made jokes with her friends. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will live in our hearts forever and be remembered by all.
Survivors: Lea Flippo is survived by her husband, James "Jimmy" Flippo; daughters, Robbin Medina, Victoria Flippo-Hauswald, Rachel Flippo; son, Tai Do; and her granddaughters, Francesca Medina and Alexandra Medina.
