It's been a long year, Drew, especially for all of us who miss your wonderful smile and your loving heart and spirit, but I am so grateful we were friends.  I hope that I can someday have half the courage, strength, faith and hope that you had, but thank you for being such a good example to me of how to handle pain and sickness with such Amazing Grace.  God Bless you and all who love you, Drew.  You are incredibly missed.

I met Drew in Mrs. Willeford's fourth grade class, 51 years ago.  We became fast and very close friends.  I never knew him to be in a bad mood or not have a smile on his face.  He was simply amazing.  When I would break up with a guy, he would be right there to cheer me up.  To tell me I was perfect and they were an idiot.  Just what a friend does.  He was in a band called the Royal Knights when we were in Jr and Sr High and it was so cool when they played at school dances.  As we got older, we would go dancing and he was the best dance partner, I would stop and visit his parents when I was in the old neighborhood.  I will miss him terribly but he will be in my heart forever, never forgotten.  I take comfort in knowing that I will see him again.  I loved him dearly, Sharon Brigham Riddle

Drew I love you like a brother.  So glad you were a part of my life. I'll have long fond memory's of our times together.  Rest now and wait for me in Glory

I am going to miss seeing you in the yard and the Rangers and Cowboys talk -

What fun we had in the junior high and high school bands. Drew's smile was contageous. He was a good friend that I will miss dearly. He's now with his Mom and PeeWee and I know I will see him again one day.

I will remember Drew and his special smile that he had, even when he was feeling awful.  He was a true source of faith, hope, friendship and inspiration for me and I will miss him every day.  I am thankful for the chance to get to know him, and I pray that the Lord will give strength and peace to all his family and friends.

Drew, I am going to miss you so much. I can never thank you enough for all that you did for me and always looked out for me. What a great brother you were. I have never seen anyone be so strong as you were. My life will be so empty with out you but you will always be in my heart. I love you so much. Love always Sis

My uncle drew was a strong man and put up a long hard fight and will be greatly missed.

What a guy. He was amazing in his quest for life. We were the closest of friends all through High School and on into early twenties. I miss his laughing and kidding, he smile and his caring. I remember the double dates the sleep overs and the late night raids in Arlington. His riding that brown Chevy Nova around like it was a tank. His playing the drums to all the latest songs. He was a "Great" guy and we lost one of a kind in his passing. He will "Always" be a "BEST" friend to me. Love Ya Man
