T.J. was born May 17, 2001, in Arlington to Tina Reese and Baquee Sabur. T.J. received his angel wings Sept. 2, 2011, at 4:26 a.m. after an automobile accident caused by an alleged drunk driver. T.J. was the definition of a happy child -- always smiling, full of life and a blessing in every possible way. He was handsome and intelligent beyond his years, loving, caring, strong, thoughtful, sweet, and amazing boy inside and out. He was so athletic; a superstar basketball player, a "Speedy Gonzales" on the track, a stud receiver on the football field and a T-ball player. He loved hip hop music, dancing, standing on his head, making people laugh, the Miami Heat NBA basketball team and Lebron James. He had dreams of playing in the NBA one day and if that didn't work out, he wanted to be a vet, because he loved animals. His favorite restaurant was Schlotzsky's. His favorite color was red. T.J. was a fifth-grade student at Cross Timbers Intermediate School in the Mansfield school district and enrolled in all gifted and talented classes.
He was very loved by his mother, Tina, and big sister, Camille, and all of his family and friends. T.J. made the whole world a better place. He was his mommy's little handsome prince and blessing from God. Whenever he did something naughty, she couldn't help but laugh because he was just so silly and just didn't know any better. He could instantly put a smile on his mommy's face and make her and his sister laugh until they were in tears. He was so thoughtful. Every once in a while, he would pick flowers for his mom and sister -- just because. With immeasurable love for each other, Camille and T.J. were rarely apart. She adored her brother since the day he was born. Taking him under her wing, they were literally attached at the hip. Wherever Camille went, there was T.J. There isn't a basketball player, volleyball player or teacher at Summit High School that didn't know T.J. Camille believes that T.J. was more popular at her high school than she was. With a brother and sister bond like no other, T.J. was her best friend.
