Suzie was an amazing artist who loved to draw, paint, and create works of pottery. Suzie served in the U.S. Army and afterwards spent many years working as a graphic illustrator, designer, and director for the Army Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES). She also spent time teaching Art at McClennan Community College in Waco and as a graphic illustrator in the library at UTA. Suzie was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Arlington, where she was active in the choir, volunteer programs, and the New Horizon’s Sunday School Class. In her spare time, Suzie enjoyed attending art shows, watching movies, reading, gardening, and collecting many antiques. One of her greatest passions was her love for animals, supporting the Humane Society of Ft. Worth and adopting several rescue animals.
Suzie is survived by her brother Allen Hall, III, cousins Frankie Hall, Jennifer Kammer and husband Gerry, Charles Edward Hall, II and wife Debbie; nieces and nephews Russell Hall and wife Sonja, Chad Hall and wife Lisa, and Casa Timmons; great nieces and nephews Morgan, Gracie, Sarah, Shayla, Dakota, Makensie, and Diasha Hall, Laila and Benjamin Timmons; and great great niece Mercy Bean.
Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00pm on Sunday, March 31 at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00am on Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church. Graveside services and military honors will be at 3:00pm on Monday at Oakwood Cemetery, Waco.
