Sue Savage Huston was born on November 17, 1934. She grew up in the Texas Panhandle towns of Mobeetie, Hereford and Amarillo. She was united in marriage to Sidney Burgess Huston October 7, 1960 and blessed with four children: Duke, Susan, David and Julie.
Sue was passionate about music, especially Country Western and Gospel. But she really loved Bluegrass music and attending festivals. Sue & Sid enjoyed many trips to the mountains of Colorado and New Mexico. Alaska and Northern California were also favorites.
Sue is survived by her husband, Sid Huston; brother Cortland Savage, children Duke (Kathy) Huston of Abilene, TX, Susan Gay Huston Drudge (Mike) of Arlington, TX, David Mark (Tracy) Huston of Burleson, TX and Julie Anna (Blake) Whitley of Arlington, TX along with 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
In her heavenly home, Sue joins her mother Alwyn Foster and brother Keith Savage.
A graveside service for Sue will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
