Stan was in telecommunications where he worked as a lineman and especially enjoyed his tenure with Big Bend Telephone Company in Alpine, Texas.
Stan had an oversized heart & was a good soul. Not too many of us can say that. He had a love for saving displaced animals and people. Anyone that met him was never a stranger and he would give them the shirt off his back if needed. He was self-taught in guitar and keyboard and loved classical rock jam sessions with friends. He was never conventional and hysterically funny…loved the great outdoors, especially when he was traveling across it on a Harley. Of course, he loved family and friends the most.
Left to cherish his memory; sons, Brent Rousey and Michael Rousey (Melissa); grandchildren, Katelyn Rousey and Tyler Rousey; siblings, Charlotte Cullum, Richard Barney (Elise), Thomas Barney (Kathy), Claire Healy (James); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
