Shirley Louise Cooper aged 86, of Arlington, Texas passed away on October 16, 2022.
Shirley was born in Waco Texas on August 9th 1936, to Denver and Louise Schoggins. Shirley graduated from Waco, Texas and then 4C Business College in Waco.
She married Jerry in 1956 in Waco and shortly after, Jerry and Shirley moved to Austin where Jerry attended and graduated at UT while Shirley worked at CB Smith Motors as a bookkeeper.
Jerry and Shirley’s daughter, Dawn Ann was born in Austin. A year later, after graduation Shirley and Jerry moved to Dallas where their son Steven was born.
After the children were grown Shirley returned to bookkeeping, but her real love was interior design. She loved helping others make their homes more beautiful.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Jerry Cooper and her daughter Dawn Ann and husband Dennis Northington as well as grandchildren Daniel Northington and his wife Grace and Christine Fleet and her husband Nathan. Shirley is survived by her sisters Betty Jo Warrick and Doris Jean Maxwell.
