Shari Gail Newton, 63, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013. She will be greatly missed by all who love her. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Friday in Moore Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home. Gail was born Oct. 25 to James and Frances Arrington in San Angelo. She graduated from Big Spring High School and went on to attend Howard County College. Gail was a devoted employee of the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office for more than 10 years. She attended Fielder Road Baptist Church, and her biggest passions in life were her church and family. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, James Arrington and Frances Rose. Survivors: Daughters, Amy Clardy-Peterson and Aubrea Newton; son, James Newton; brother, James Gary Arrington and wife, Noma; sister, Gay Arrington; grandchildren, Trevor, Taylor, Micah and Madison Peterson, Tessa Newton and Ethan Moen; seven nieces and nephews; 12 great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
