

Services for Sandra Diane Ziemer Imhoff will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4400 W. Arkansas Lane, Arlington with Pastor Bill Lowrey officiating. Burial will be 4:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation, 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, May 22 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington.
Sandra was born October 22, 1930 in Racine, Wisconsin to Milton F. Ziemer and Anita Manthey Ziemer. She spent her childhood years in Racine. After high school she attended the University of Houston/ Lillie Jolly School of Nursing. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren and the care of others. She was employed as a RN/Charge Nurse at Arlington Memorial Hospital from 1976 to 1996. She was a charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Arlington. After retirement she donated many hours to the Lutheran Ministries including producing Braille Bibles. Sandra was an exceptional seamstress and enjoyed gardening, swimming, and spending time at the beach.
Sandra was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Ziemer.
Survivors include eight children; daughter Cathy Fritsche (Ron) of San Angelo, son John Imhoff (Stacia) of Arlington, daughter Anne Darden (Randy) of Arlington, son Tom Imhoff (Cathy) of Arlington, daughters Christi Walters of Bossier City, Louisiana, Courtney Imhoff of Arlington, Sandy Franks of Arlington and Charity Watson (Jim) of Arlington, sixteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one on the way.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are encouraged to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2630 W. Fwy. #100, Ft. Worth, Texas 76102.
