Roy Lee Sears

Roy Lee Sears, age 76, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. He was born on January 11, 1947 in Kent, Washington, the son of Oran Alfred Sears and Audra Mae Bench Sears. Roy married Ann Faulkner in Dangerfield, Texas and they celebrated 27 years of marriage together before his passing.

Roy proudly served in the US Army. Roy possessed many talents, including singing and playing the guitar. He was an avid coin collector and owned his own business for many years. He was a proud tool grinder. Roy cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Roy is survived by his wife, Ann; son Lee Roy Sears; daughter Lynette Puckett and husband Curtis; grandchildren Brittany Leann Sears, Riley Hailey, Glendale Creech (Bo), Holly, Carlile, Porschee Raven, and Gage Puckett; and great grandchildren Chasitie LaRae Walston, Alexander Carlile, Aurora Carlile, Lilly Carroll, Grace Raven, and Kamreigh Puckett.

A graveside service for Roy will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
