Ron, It hurts in our hearts that we had to say goodbye to a wonderful man like you!!! I'm so happy that Teri found a man that had a heart of gold. Teri and you had a good life together.  .  I was lucky enough to have a Brother-In-Law like you.  You and Teri took me under ya'll's roof and helped me through a hard time. Ya never gave up on me. It was my honor to help take care of you in your time of need.  Ya don't have to worry, Me & David will take good care of Teri , until she meets you again.  WE MISS YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!

My Daddy was a man, who in the 1960's, was left with two baby girls (one 2 years old-me and the other 8 months old). He loved, bathed, fed and cared for us for years. His legacy is one of greatness, laughter, compassion and love.  You see, "Above all, he was a realist" because, as he always said, "It is what it is."  Many women took his generosity as weakness.  However, 27 years ago, a beautiful, compassionate, loving and nurturing woman named Teri walked into, not only his life, but ours as well. God was so generous in sending her to us.  She came with an identical twin, Tami, who loved him as if he were her own father. Admittedly, it took me years to be able to share him with her! Like the saying goes, "The BEST is always saved for last!"  My Daddy's life was filled with the love and respect he deserved because of you, Teri.  I will always love you.  Rhonda Nix

Unfortunately your lived with my neice Teri in Texas and we live in Minnesota so the miles were in the way of us getting to know you better.  I was at  your beautiful wedding when  you married Teri, and I know from that day forward you were a kind, generous and faithful man to Teri.  You made her very happy.  Very seldom is one lucky enough to meet and marry their sole mate as Teri found in you.  You had to say goodbye much too early.  We are sorry about that.  Thanks for the memories.

You were such a great man and a wonderful and devoted husband to my sister, Teri.  She loves you with all of her heart, and our hearts broke as we said "goodbye" to you yesterday.  Thank you for giving Teri all of your love and making so many happy memories together over the years...she will cherish them forever.  Thanks also for opening your home and your heart to sister Tami.  (Who knew when you married Teri 12 years ago, that sister was part of the package)!!  Together they took such good care of you. Ron, my neighbor for thirty years. We witnessed each others lives through the good and the not so good. When I saw you down the street I could always depend on a smile a nod and a wave. It was your trade mark" all is o.k. in the world" no matter what.
 You shared your family and friends with me & your door was always open. No really it was. I could just walk right in.  It was great it made the neighborhood a home not just a street.
It fills my heart with grief to know when I look down the street or drive by you will never be there again.
