Roger Dwayne Clark, 62, passed away peacefully at his home in Fort Worth, Texas, on February 25, 2025. Born on June 15, 1962, in Plainview, Texas, Roger lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and love for his family.
Roger attended trade school, where he prepared for a lifelong career marked by determination and integrity. On June 18, 1979, he began working at Texas Refinery Company (TRC) as a maintenance man. Through 45 years of hard work and commitment, Roger rose to the position of Assistant Plant Superintendent, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues who valued his leadership and loyalty.
Outside of work, Roger had a passion for life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time at the gun range, shooting his guns, and watching just about any sport. A die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, he rarely missed a game and always cheered on his team with unwavering loyalty. Roger was also an avid fan of The Beatles, collecting and listening to anything related to the legendary band. He especially enjoyed relaxing while watching classic John Wayne movies.
Roger was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years, Patricia Yvonne Clark, who was truly the love of his life. He was also preceded in death by his father, Barney Joe Clark, and his brother, Thomas Craig Clark.
He is survived by his loving family: son Patrick Clark and his wife Karina; daughter Angela Clark and fiancée Thomas Coffman; daughter Christina Clark; son Michael Clark; and his cherished grandchildren Shelby, Tristan, Jacob, Alyssa, Kyra, and Brandon. He also leaves behind his brother Douglas and wife Yetta Clark, sister LaDona and her husband Scott Manire, mother Shirley and her husband Carroll Hale, sister-in-law Debbie and husband Larry Flowers and sister-in-law Wanda Tucker.
Roger will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the kindness he extended to everyone he met. His love for life, his passions, and his presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A visitation for Roger will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012. A committal will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012.
