Robert Saenz, age 55, of Arlington/Pantego, Texas, passed away September 8, 2016, after a two-year battle with cancer. He was born on July 4, 1961, in McKinney, Texas to Fidel and Celia Saenz, and attended Sunset High School. He married Debbie Yarbrough on May 12, 1992, in Dallas, Texas.
Robert worked in the uniform business for Chuck Howley Uniform for many years. He worked the last seven years for Vital Signs & Graphics. Robert was a member of Arlington Community Church.
Robert’s biggest passion was his family. They were first over all things. His greatest pleasure was watching and supporting his two daughters in all that they do. Many, many hours were spent at sporting events, which included volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, or any other activity that they chose to do. They were his pride and joy and he protected them until his last breath.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Debbie Saenz; daughters, Sunday Saenz, 24, and Katie Saenz, 15; mother, Celia Saenz; siblings, Elida Blanco, Isidra Samudio and husband Tic, Gloria Saenz, Isabel (Chavelo) Saenz and wife Irma, Janie Saenz, Amanda Contreras and husband Clem; brother-in-law Kevin Yarbrough and wife Marybel; along with an abundance of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Fidel Saenz, and sister, Dominga Saenz.
