Robert was born in Portland, Oregon to Robert and Miriam Lowry. After living in Washington, DC
and New Orleans, Rob and family moved to Dallas where he ultimately graduated from Thomas
Jefferson High School and North Texas State University.
After a 45 year career in business, Rob was beginning his retirement with his loving wife Gloria on the golf course and traveling the country. He will be missed by many friends and family who loved him dearly.
Rob is survived by his wife, Gloria; step-son, Bryan Smith and wife, Marsha; step-daughter, Michelle Romeo; grandchildren, Lindsey and Jonathan and their families, and Gloria and Nathan; sisters, Linda Bowers and husband, Bill, and Connie Murdock; nieces and nephews, Stacey, Amanda, Brent, and Jake along with their families; and by countless friends and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 4, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Rolling Hills Country Club, 401 Lamar Blvd., East, Arlington, 76011.
