The Goodtimes Chorus lost a friend today. Dick Kneeland passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Bill Frye was with him when he passed. Dick was more than a friend to most of us. He was a mentor and almost like a brother. He was our Director for almost a quarter of a century and taught us more about singing than most of us had ever dreamed of. Barbershop singing was the core of most of his life. We will miss him greatly.
A celebration of life will be held at Moni's Pasta and Pizza, 1730 W Randol Mill Rd, Arlington, 76012, on Sunday, February 6, at 12:00 p.m. Dick was laid to rest at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, 76012.
