Rebecca Beth Rushing

Rebecca was born August 28, 1940 in Meridian, Texas to Ione Finstad Blue and Herman Cecil Blue. She grew up on a farm near Cranfills Gap, Texas and was educated in the Cranfills Gap Schools. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. She attended Texas Lutheran College in Seguin, Texas and North Texas State University in Denton, Texas.

She retired from Frank Kent Cadillac in Fort Worth after 26 years of service.

She was an avid reader of newspapers, books and gossip magazines. She enjoyed going to the movies and she especially loved spending time with her granddaughter and great-granddaughter. She had a great sense of humor and she always enjoyed a good laugh.

She is survived by her sons Scott Rushing and wife Sharon, and Bruce Rushing; granddaughter Brooklyn Rushing; great granddaughter Cecilia Tran; and sister Angela Little and husband Jerry.

A memorial service and interment at St. Olaf Lutheran Rock Church Cemetery, Cranfills Gap, Texas will be held on April 10, 2021, at 2 pm.
