peacefully June 20, 2024, surrounded by family in Arlington, Texas.
Becky was born July 31, 1937, in Mt. Hope, Kansas to Isabelle and Frank N. Reichenberger.
She married David L. Moritz in 1958, and started their family which grew to five children,15
grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
The family moved to Arlington in 1974, where Becky began her legacy of community service.
Devout in her faith, Becky was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, which
she joyfully served with a servant’s heart. She was also faithful in her many years of volunteer
work for Encore Club, Arlington Woman’s Club, Arlington Meals on Wheels, and Arlington Girls
Club. Though Becky’s time primarily revolved around her family and her community, her husband
David proudly acknowledged Becky as playing a critical role in his success as his most important
and supportive partner.
Known for her quick-wit and infectious laugh, Becky most enjoyed time spent with family and
friends. She was a clever, creative, and gracious hostess who loved holidays, birthdays, or any
occasion to gather for good food and fellowship. Becky enjoyed a special circle of close-knit
friends to whom she was devoted. When anyone suffered a bump in the road, Becky was always
the first to offer encouragement and support. She was equally beautiful inside and out, and was
a blessing to all who knew her.
Becky was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, David L. Moritz; her parents Isabelle
and Frank N. Reichenberger; her siblings Francis Nicholas Jr., John Francis and Marge
Reichenberger.
Becky is survived by her sister Mary Schmitz and her husband Tom; her five children and their
spouses Michelle and Keith Paris, Jenifer and Tommy Summers, John David and Leslie Moritz,
Kris and Mark Bradford, Julie and Chad Stafford; her grandchildren Amanda, Ashley and Molly
Paris; Jason Sebastian and Paige Hathaway, Kristen Sebastian, Sara and Ryder Kell, Kate
Summers; Meg and Anna Moritz; Merissa and Cole Bradford, Andee Bradford and Jason Jacobs,
Sam Bradford; Jackson, Benjamin and Nicholas Stafford; one great granddaughter Presley
Sebastian.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made in Becky’s memory to Most
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County and Arlington Woman’s
Club.
