Polly lived most of her life in Arlington, Texas and passed away September 9, 2022 at 90 years old. She was born in Silverton, Texas, on August 1, 1932.
Polly grew up with a love for basketball that transcended into her adulthood, where she would never pass an opportunity to watch Mavs game. She also loved to bowl and play cards with her friends, and was quite the gifted poker player with a bluff that never faltered – even on Christmas Eve. Polly also had the ‘gift of gab’ and was always happiest chatting with her friends and family at gatherings with her beloved dog perched on her lap.
Polly was an active member of the Lamar Baptist Church for many years where she found community, support, and friendship among many.
She was survived by her brother Norman, son Rick and his wife Rocky, son Randy and his wife Robin, and her cherished dog Maddy. Polly also has four grandchildren (Michelle and her husband Brian, Melissa and husband John, Taylor and her husband Alex, and Jenn Savage) and four great-grandchildren (Jackson, Madison, Lincoln, and Logan).
