Phillip was a quiet and gentle soul who lived many adventures. He grew up in the Texas fields chasing scorpions and hunting arrow heads. Golden glove boxer and helicopter crew member in the U.S. Navy. Traveler of the world and road.
Funeral: 1:15 pm Graveside Service Monday at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
He was a loving son and proud PAPA of 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Phillip lived a simple and quiet life as a security systems and vault/lock technician. He was kind to his neighbors, told wonderful stories, and raised his glass to life until the end. He will be deeply missed.
Phillip is survived by his mother Ellen Darr, sister Janie Hammonds, children Joshua Darr, Nicole Dykes, Natalie Klebes, and Noell Eckstein, and grandchildren Coleton Dykes, Anderson Jerome Darr, Maven Dykes,Broderek Dykes, Olivia Klebes, and Sawyer Klebes.
