Pedro "Tito" Jerome Bugarin

Pedro “Tito” Jerome Bugarin, of Grand Prairie, Texas, was born on April 13, 1984 and passed away September 18, 2022. He bravely overcame lifelong health issues to bring joy to countless lives during his 38 years.

From an early age, everyone knew him as “Tito,” a nickname given to him by his brother. His dad was often the coach of his childhood sports teams including soccer which became a favorite sport. He made lifelong friends while attending Immaculate Conception Catholic School and later graduated from Bishop Dunne Catholic School where he played on the school’s rugby team. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in accounting.

Though his business card may have said professional accountant, the job he enjoyed the most was being an uncle. He loved to cheer on his nephews at their sporting events as their #1 fan.

Pedro was a fiercely loyal friend. Whether he was attending concerts, rooting on the Mavericks, or trying to stomach a Cowboys game, he loved being with friends. He maintained lasting relationships and was considered a best friend to many.

Pedro loved animals and music almost as much as his family and friends. He was a big dog lover – most recently as “dog dad” to Tuco.

He was a cherished son, sibling, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who had the ability to bring a smile or laugh to everyone and anyone. Pedro had a wicked sense of humor from which no one was safe. He will be missed beyond words by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Lola Quiroga, uncle, Albert Quiroga and cousin Jennifer Barron Leek. He is survived by his parents Tony and Gloria Bugarin, sister Toni-Marie, brother Michael; aunts Mary Quiroga and Janie Santos; nephews Kamron and Nolan Bugarin; “nieces” Angel, Isabella, Margo, Mia, and Poppins. Pedro is also survived by many beloved cousins and friends.

A visitation for Pedro will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A rosary service will occur Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 6:30 PM, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2910 Corn Valley Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Beltline Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
