Service: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington. Casual dress is appropriate. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardnes. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home.
Paul was born Nov. 19, 1929, in the Parker community in Collin County. He was a general contractor in Arlington for 42 years. He and Barbara retired to Weatherford in 1995. He loved to fish and play guitar. He was a lead picker in the bluegrass band Southridge, which he helped form.
Survivors: Wife, Barbara; daughters, Jo Ann Wells and husband, Phill, Janet Bickerstaff, Laurie Malone and husband, Kyle, and Elizabeth White; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister; two brothers; numerous nieces and nephews; and his extended bluegrass family.
