Funeral Service will be held at Moore Funeral Home on Monday, October 5, at 10:30 am, with a visitation 1 hour prior to service at 9:30 am. Committal service held at DFW National Cemetery following the service.
Paul was born in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, on June 23, 1934. He attended Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia., where he met his beloved wife, Betsey, who was attending Southern Seminary College in Buena Vista, Virginia. They were married on June 10, 1958 and then entered military life at that time with the United States Army until Paul's military retirement in 1973. After retirement they moved to Arlington, Texas. In 1979 he began teaching Government & History at Nolan Catholic High School in Fort Worth, until his retirement in 1990. Paul & Betsey then moved to Burleson in 1992 and had a second home in a military community in Melbourne, Florida.
Paul was a decorated Veteran who served 3 tours in Vietnam. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather who will be sorely missed. He devoted his life to his family and friends, and we find peace in knowing that he & Betsey are reunited again.
Paul was predeceased by his wife Betsey, his oldest son, Paul Dandridge Bark; and his parents, Paul and Dorothy Bark.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Lecia and Joe Willingham of Lake Worth; son and daughter-in-law, William and Terrie Bark of Frisco; grandchildren, Joey Willingham, Elizabeth and husband, Brian Engelhardt, and William F. Bark Jr.; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Mason Engelhardt; and sister, Patricia Lorraine of Lititz, Pennsylvania.
