Patsy Jean Lowthorp

and Susie Ray. The family moved to San Antonio, Texas and called it home. Pat graduated

from Brackenridge High School, was a member of the Purple Jackets and met the love of her

life.

She and Marcus Lowthorp were married in 1953 and had three sons. Pat always said she had

the best job of any woman, being a stay at home mom. After the boys were grown, she

worked part time as a secretary for various governmental agencies.

The family moved to Arlington, Texas, Washington State, California, Arizona, then back home

to Texas. Pat and Marc volunteered as home missionaries in 1991 and served in Maud, Texas

and then back to Washington State.

In 2004, they moved to Mansfield, Texas to be near family. Patsy Jean is survived by her

husband of 67 years, Marcus Merrow, their sons Marcus Ray (and Florence) of Mansfield,

Texas, Michael (and Lucy) of Grand Prairie, Texas, Matthew (Stacey) of Seattle, Washington,

and their loving family of nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
