Patsy was born December 28, 1941 in Wichita Falls to I.A. Parmer and Mildred (Sanders) Cooke. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth and later completed nursing school in 1974 to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She was a dedicated LVN at Medical City Arlington and Arlington Memorial Hospital.
Patsy and her husband, Bob Devereaux, were members of Woods Chapel Baptist Church where she enjoyed participating in the church choir and in Women in Missions.
Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She delighted in spending time with her friends, family, and in making people laugh. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Devereaux; parents, I.A. Parmer and Mildred (Sanders) Cooke; son, Randy Douglas Holcomb; and step-son, Gary Devereaux.
Survivors: daughters, Deborah Holcomb Williams and husband, Shawn, and Karen Holcomb Kegley and husband, Michael; step-daughters, Sharon Devereaux and Mary Staton; sister, Gayle Corry and husband, Charles; brother, Gordon Cooke and wife, Sue; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
