Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, followed by the interment and gathering in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with holy rosary at 6:30 p.m. and vigil at 7 p.m., at Moore Funeral Home.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

She was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to Gertrude and Eugene MacCarthy and moved to Texas with her family in 1952. She graduated from the original Arlington High School in 1955, attended the University of Dallas, then started a career with General Motors as ultimate secretary, retiring in 1989.

Pat was an active member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, where she was like a mother to many children since she had none of her own. She was also very devoted to her Renew group for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors: Her husband of 33 years, Bill Roche; and many cousins and dear friends.
