Norma “Nana” Jean Dixson: Funeral services will be held for Norma Jean, 93, Arlington, at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 18th at Lamar Baptist Church followed by a Graveside Service at Moore Funeral Home Cemetery. Visitation will be at Moore Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Norma passed away April 9th, 2024 surrounded by her family. Norma was born July 3rd, 1930 in Dallas, Texas. Norma loved baking, sewing, and spending time with her family. Norma volunteered as a Pink Lady at Arlington Memorial Hospital for over 47 years. Norma also volunteered her time and money to several of Arlington’s charities throughout the years. Norma was an active member of Northside Baptist Church for many years before becoming a member of Lamar Baptist Church.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents Otis (Buck) Watson and Sarah (Sadie) Watson of Ore City, Texas, her husband Harold C. Dixson, , her son-in-law Bill Dromgoole, daughter-in-law Jenni Dixson, and granddaughter Leah Gatrel. .
Norma is survived by her children, Kathie Eaton, Harold D. Dixson, Debra Dromgoole, Michael Dixson and wife Luanne; Grandchildren: Chip Eaton, Wendy Eaton Cunningham, Jaime Dixson and wife Joy, Ember Stalberger and husband Aaron, Douglas Dixson, Leah Rocha and husband Julian, Tom Dromgoole and wife Jessica, Courtney Dixson and Fiancé Jake, Tyler Dixson and wife Lindsey, Lynsey Barrick and husband Kevin, and Justin Dixson. Norma had over 20 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
