Norma was born on March 11, 1931 the sixth of seven children, to John and Juanita Tye in Haskell County, Oklahoma.
Norma graduated from Muskogee Central High School in 1949 with honors and was chosen Football Queen that year. On Easter Sunday 1967 she was seated in church with three of her four daughters when Don Cutler sat down beside her with his son and daughter. They began dating and were married November 19, 1967 and raised their six children.
Norma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her Sunday school class, her church where she was a member for 61 years, and her family above all else. Norma also enjoyed volunteering at Mission Arlington. She also loved to gaze at the moon.
Norma was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Heiligman and is survived by her husband Don, daughters Linda Moore, Diana Williamson, Ronda Kessler, Donna Carey and son David Cutler. Norma also has twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Moore Funeral Home on Bowen Road in Arlington, Texas, August 6, 2024 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, August 6, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
