Norca Marie Woodard

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Norca Woodard, who left us peacefully on March 17, 2025, at the age of 88. She was born on November 18, 1936 in Lexington, Kentucky to Chester and Lillie Miller.

Norca Woodard was a beloved wife of 55 years to Basil Woodard, mother to six children: David Woodard, Tim Woodard, Myrna Keena, Cheryl Brock, Todd Harrington, Misty Parsons, and a cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She is leaving behind a legacy of love that will always continue and never be forgotten. She was known as GG Mom to 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, she found joy in her sewing room making things for all the children, cooking fantastic meals and making sure none of the children ever left her home hungry, and being there for anyone in need especially her family. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and devotion to her family, and leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Norca will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
