In a time with no antibiotics or much medications, he was bedridden for nearly a year. Elders from the church prayed fervently for his healing. A devout Christian told Moses’ father that if Moses survives, he will serve the Lord.
Growing up, Moses served the Lord in his local church and after his undergraduate studies at University of Santo Tomas. Moses always had a deep desire to serve the Lord. He was recommended to pursue seminary at Western Michigan Theological Seminary (Holland, Michigan). After his studies, he returned to the Philippines. In 1980, Moses and his family moved to Chicago, Illinois to pastor Chinese Christian Fellowship Church that grew from a student bible fellowship. Jubilee Evangelical Church and Chinese Christian Fellowship Church flourished due to God’s grace. Moses served God faithfully and truly shepherd his church family.
