She was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on September 22, 1951 to Harold and Maxine Hofer. She graduated from Lebanon Senior High. Millie married Norman Philips on May 2, 1981 and worked as an office manager for most of her life. She was a member of Shepherd of Life Lutheran Church and loved to plan parties, cook and cater, being a grandma, and she loved Triumph cars. She will be missed.
She is survived by her husband, Norman, her mother Maxine, her son Johnny Philips and wife Jenny, and daughter Michelle Philips, grandchildren Christopher and Christian Jones, Jesse Philips, Kennedi Philips, Cole Philips, Luke Philips, Jake Philips, Terry Kiepfer and husband Mike, Jerry Hofer, Jeannie Stump and husband Marc, Ed Hofer and wife Dawn, Cade Philips, Harry J. Hofer, and Lori A. Robinson
The family will have a service at 3pm on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Shepherd of Life Lutheran Church.
