Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2014, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
She was born Merna Evelyn Jamieson on January 5, 1924 in Los Angeles, California, a daughter of Glenn Hugh Jamieson and Sallie Laura Woodbury Jamieson.
Merna is survived by two sons, Robert Joyner and Timothy Joyner; three daughters, Laura Whittington, Rebecca Morgan, and Penny Meisenheimer; grandchidren, Elizabeth, Tye, Jerry, Joseph, Aaron, Kristina, Nathan, Dillion, Michelle, and Jena; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials in memory of Merna to the Foundation Institute Outreach in care of the Church of God World Wide Ministries.
